yes .On each side the fish’s body are little pored which pick up vibrations and changes of pressure in the water, indicating the approach of an enemy. Fish of the carp family have tiny bones in the head which are linked with the swim bladder. The swim bladder acts as a sounding board, which magnifies the tiniest vibrations and passes them to the inner ear.
