- Diabetic retinopathy: Diabetes can cause diabetic retinopathy, which affects the blood vessels in the retina and impairs eyesight.
- Retinal detachment: It is a medical emergency that happens when the retina separates from the back of the eye. If it is not treated very once, it can cause permanent vision loss.
- Cataracts: As the eye’s lens becomes clouded, a common condition known as cataracts results in reduced vision. Even while cataracts can be surgically removed, they are still a serious ailment that, if unchecked, can result in blindness.
